This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the Roundkin website, and how you can manage your preferences. For questions, contact us at [email protected].

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They allow a site to remember certain information — such as whether you have accepted a notice, or how you navigated the site — during and between visits.

Cookies do not give us access to your device. They store only what the website puts in them, and most can be deleted or blocked using your browser settings.

2. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active

Required for the website to function. They cannot be switched off. These include cookies that remember your cookie consent choices.

Examples: cookieConsent (localStorage) · Session state

Analytics Cookies

Help us understand how visitors use the website — which pages are visited and how long is spent on them. All data is anonymised.

Examples: Google Analytics · Page-view counters

Duration: up to 2 years (persistent)

Marketing Cookies

Used to track visits across sites to allow relevant information about our programmes to be shown. We do not currently run paid advertising, but these are included for completeness.

Examples: Advertising network trackers

Duration: up to 1 year (persistent)

Preference Cookies

Remember choices you have made — such as language or region — so you do not have to repeat them on future visits.

Examples: Language setting · Region preference

Duration: up to 1 year (persistent)

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use. We do not control these directly; they are governed by the privacy policies of the respective providers.

4. Cookie Duration

Session cookies

Exist only while your browser is open. Deleted automatically when you close the tab or window.

Persistent cookies

Remain on your device for a set period (days to years) and are reactivated each time you return to the site, unless deleted.
