The Roundkin approach to family education

Equal participation

Every programme is designed so no single participant holds more time or authority than another. The round-table format is not a metaphor — it is how sessions are run.

Skills, not solutions

Roundkin teaches communication habits and organisational methods. We do not interpret family situations, give personal recommendations, or replace qualified specialist support.

Our programmes are structured as distinct tiers. You can start with the workshop and go further, or join directly at the level that matches your household's current needs.

Programme 1

Fair Turns Workshop

A hands-on workshop focused on fair turn-taking and respectful phrasing, so every family member — regardless of age or role — feels genuinely heard during shared discussions. Practised together in a small, supportive group setting. Skills-based education only; no individual matters are addressed.

What participants develop:

  • Techniques for holding and releasing the floor fairly
  • Phrasing that invites rather than shuts down contribution

Shared Planner Toolkit

A complete household planning toolkit and guided walkthrough session that helps every member of a household keep shared plans, important contacts, and daily routines in one clear place everyone can use. Designed to ease coordination and reduce the everyday friction of managing a shared life. An organisation aid; documents within it are not interpreted.

What the toolkit includes:

  • Guided walkthrough session with a Roundkin facilitator
  • Quick-reference card for ongoing use at home

A series of sessions building steady, inclusive communication habits across a household as circumstances change. Centred on practical skills and shared planning tools. Not recommendations or individual guidance — qualified specialists are directed where appropriate. This is the most in-depth Roundkin programme, combining elements of the Workshop and Toolkit into a connected learning journey.

Group confidentiality

All participants agree to confidentiality guidelines at the start of every session. What happens in the room stays in the room.

Education scope only

No personal advice is given. Facilitators stay within the scope of skills and organisational education throughout.

Punctual, prepared sessions

Sessions start and finish as scheduled. Materials and room setup are prepared before participants arrive so time together is used well.

Warm, non-directive facilitation

Facilitators guide process — they do not steer content or express views about how a household should operate.

Referral when appropriate

If a household's needs are beyond what Roundkin offers, we communicate this plainly and point you toward relevant qualified professionals in Thailand.

Reviewed content

All programme materials are reviewed regularly to ensure they remain current, clear, and relevant for households in the Nonthaburi and Bangkok area.
